Marc Bechet, 83, is a simple hiker who became passionate about this village and its warm-hearted inhabitants as part of the development work being carried out in the village of Basa Rapcha by the association Au Népal un village une amitié en marche. The Khaling Rai welcomed him and his wife Jacqueline Béchet on numerous occasions, opening their homes and their hearts to them. He recounts these true moments of humanity and universality.
